How it works
Each card’s continuous effects are read and applied through the Comprehensive Rules layer system (CR 613) in the order the rules require — copy effects, control-changing, text-changing, type-changing, color-changing, ability-adding/removing, and power/toughness — with dependency ordering (CR 613.8) when effects depend on each other.
